hello i'm new here although i'm already in a deal with lvnlow who i understand is a frequent visitor here. just thought i'd post up deadening project and current/upcoming system.

did a little more work today and finally got some pics. some edead and some SS

pics of current 12" comp vr's and upcoming h2 15" next to size 10.5 converse also. can also see where armrest is cut through a little

You put the deadener on by hand only didn't you?

Welcome to the forum.

May want to use a heatgun/blowdryer and roller to smooth that out a little..

indeed....doesnt look pressed out like it would if you used a roller.

I can tell because in the corners and bends, I can see the lines from a sharp object trying to press the deadener down. Only reason I know this is I've shamefully done it before. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

So yea, whip out the roller next time. You don't want to take any chances with eDead.

yeah no roller, just butt of screwdriver and back of box knife. once i run out of edead i'll no longer be getting any. not disappointed in it just not mad at spending 3x for SS damp. used heat gun on trunk originally and on doors when i did them but it crapped out yesterday so couldn't. all is covered cept trunk lid though

got amp for 200 bucks from CC, might be for sale soon. heres what i got done today, back to using SS no more Edead thank god. no roller still but took time with heatgun(only about 40 out there) and think it turned out pretty nice
