its aluminum...if it were plastic it probably wouldnt have broke lol least with the stuff i work with. (i own an atlas too only a 12" which uses same style of basket)

maybe its usps, I don't know but fed ex delivered it to me. As soon as I got it I turned around and shipped it out (usps). Nevertheless, my man is covered w/ insurance so he wont loose anything. In fact, like it was mentioned before, he just needs the softparts (recone) and another basket.
