Picking out two sets of speakers - help!

Alright, so I decided to go with a Kenwood EZ-500 HU and am now looking for some speakers to go along with it. I need two 4x6s for the dash and then another pair (thinking 6x9s). I don't have that much cash to spend - I was looking around at Crutchfield and then on eBay and I could get a pair of Infinity Reference 4x6s and 6x9s all for under $140. I don't want to spend more than that. Crisp highs and punchy enough bass with decent mids is what I'm looking for (keeping my situation in perspective). Oh, and I'm just going with this basic set-up, no amp or separate subs...

Opinions? The References seem pretty good for the money, and I'm kind of leaning towards those right now...how would they compare to the Pioneer TS-A series (specifically the TS-A6971R and TS-A4670R)?
