98' firebird, sleeper ftw
Im wanting a new "vehicle" Im 16, and i have about 7-9k tops to work with.

im selling my firebird, and my chevy 1500.

It needs to be newer, capable of driving in the snow, Fast is a plus, and good for installing audio in it.

I was thinking an 03-04 Neon Srt turbo, but my dad thinks I should get a 02-04 Chevy Tahoe because their cheap right now.

Any serious imput please? i dont want junkers or anything not capable of driving all year round. (and not over 9k)

whos payin for gas?
I will be paying for gas.

The real question is who's paying for insurance?
Im paying that also.

I like my Tahoe a lot. But i wont when gas goes back up.
Yeah my mom has a 04' GMC Yukon and its really nice, she wont let me put 2 18"s in the back though lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

How 'bout a Subaru? You can probably find a decent Legacy or WRX for 9k and would meet your criteria. Mileage would be better, too. My wife's Tahoe gets 13-15MPG, my Subaru gets 24-28 (with the Yakima rack off; 22-24 with it on)

Those WRX's look pretty decent, and AWD is nice.

Do those two match up?

Yeah, but my dad doesn't really want me to get one, so im looking for alternatives, but i still want one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ford explorers and jeep cherokees are cheap as shitz right now and are good in snow while being pretty easy for installs. aren't the best when it comes to good gas mileage, but you'll definitely be able to find a decent one for under 9K
