Picked up my "dream car" yesterday!

just hoping I can find a good standard bore 460 block...

as I said, my family owns a couple local parts/machine shops so IF I have to pay for stuff, it is at cost. If I need stuff that isn't too expensive, I walk into the store, grab what i need and tell them so they can re-stock it... All my machine work/balancing is free and I build myself so no labor charges... plus I have the two 351W's and 5.0HO and C4 that came with the car to sell and use that money for parts so it will actualy end up realy costing me even less out of pocket

I got the car tore down to bare bones... only issues at all are a baseball size group of pinholes in the driver floor pan, a couple golf ball sized groups of pin holes in the passenger pan, shitty rust repair in the trunk pan (they just welded flat sheet metal over the pan about 16" x 10") and the bottom few inches o fhte rear quarters...

So it is as I was hoping adn just a little sheet metal work needs done! I haven't done floors since my fox body mustang so I am lookinf forward to this! Going to just replace the entire floor pan and trunk pan the just get the lower "patch" panels for the quarter panels. everythign structural is in great shape so that is AWESOME! whoever did the "work" on this car really sucked and decided to just overlap teh sheet metal and fiberglass/bondo it smooth LOL... thank god they only did the bottom few inches of the 1/4's and the floor pans!

First thing first though I have to get a new welder since someone decided to steal my SP175 Plus... Thinking I am going to just get a Hobart Handler 187 as I have heard great things about it compared to the other brands in cimilar size...
