i was set on a 880prs but i just couldnt wait another few weeks to gather some more money to get one.

hifiaudioonline on ebay is selling the 860mp refurbed for $270 shipped but he has the option for a best offer and i offered him $225shipped and he accepted. I was **** excited, so if anyone needs a good deck for cheap there you go

are the main benifits of the 880prs over the 860 is the independent l/r eq and ability to go active.....and a very very classy look, if thats all i think it was worth it to save the $75

the 860mp is a nice hu //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif i like it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

I have the Pioneer DEH 8600mp. Is there a big difference between mine and the premier 860mp ? Mine sound great and looks even better. I love it. I'm just curious about the diffrences.

So with my Pioneer DEH 8600mp I can't run comps with my HU ? If you havn't noticed I'm not to familiar with running active and comps. I have always ran with coax. Sorry for the Noobness but I have to ask to learn. Thanks.

yeah you can run componets, active just means you use one amp to power tweeters and one amp to power the midbass. passive means you use one amp to power both mid and tweet and you use the crossover included in the componet set to seperate the frequency and power going to the mid and tweet.
