Picked up a Pioneer DEH-p860mp pretty cheap too

i was set on a 880prs but i just couldnt wait another few weeks to gather some more money to get one.

hifiaudioonline on ebay is selling the 860mp refurbed for $270 shipped but he has the option for a best offer and i offered him $225shipped and he accepted. I was **** excited, so if anyone needs a good deck for cheap there you go

are the main benifits of the 880prs over the 860 is the independent l/r eq and ability to go active.....and a very very classy look, if thats all i think it was worth it to save the $75

You can go active with the 860, also.

I have the Pioneer DEH 8600mp. Is there a big difference between mine and the premier 860mp ? Mine sound great and looks even better. I love it. I'm just curious about the diffrences.

premier is active capable and also has a 2 year warranty higher pre out i believe also

I think I have 4v pre-out. I like the color display and the 13 band eq. Plus it looks sexxay.

the 860 is a great hu i really liked how it plays the aac files and it sounds great in my friends car connected to his rainbow comp set.

yeah you can run componets, active just means you use one amp to power tweeters and one amp to power the midbass. passive means you use one amp to power both mid and tweet and you use the crossover included in the componet set to seperate the frequency and power going to the mid and tweet.
