i still need a box.. i dont know if i should get ported or sealed and i dont know where i should buy one from.. im not handy at making anything out of wood so lets rule out that option.. and then i dont know everything i need to buy to upgrade my big 3.. can someone help me out with that?

not bad get the box done custom so they can tune it to the proper hz for the sub(ported) and ure big 3 should be ok with the 4 ga as ure not pulling enough power to need an upgrade

Looks OK I guess. You could do better on the amp. Just don't mount it on the box if you decide to go with the Brutus amps because the legs on the FETs will break loose. I'd try to get more money and buy at least some coaxil's and a 4 channel amp for them. Good choice on the subs, which is prolly the only thing I would buy from your list.

If you're willing to make the drive, I have a box made for RE SX12's (the SE's share the same box) I made but didn't fit right in my car. I could sell it cheap. Dimensions are 36wx17hx16d. It's 4.08 cubes after all displacement tuned to 35hz, no carpet, it's got paint on it.

Well then I hope you don't plan on buying a prefab box for those subs. Make sure you have 1.25 cubes sealed/per or 2 cubes ported/per.

when I had my 1206d amp it was in a full size truck with a v8 I dont thank i would bother with the big 3 right now Im glad you went with that amp I thank you'll be happy

And dont know kinda part brake of those amps. Iv had mine mounded every where stepped kicked had water on it and it just keeps on working

His 1208d blew up on him. That's why he's against Hifonics now, which is understandable. Same reason i will never buy Massive Audio or Eclipse.

J/K... each sub has different specs. The size and tuning of an enclosure depends on these specs. You can buy a super moofer and still won't be loud in the wrong sized box. RE recommends 2 cubic (cubes) feet per sub AFTER sub and port displacement for thr SE's to perform at it's best. If you decide to go sealed, I believe it's 1.25 cubic feet per sub, after displacement of the sub.

So... having the system is the smaller part of it. The bigger part is the install. It's going to determine how loud you will be. The box for your sub is part of the install.
