thanks i might consider that location only thing is on the drivers side i have the edge display mounted not sure if it will be in the way and kill the sound or not i will have to check

It will work, you would have to cover the tweeter completly to drown it out. Unless your doing serious SQ comps you will never know the difference.

well down the road i plan on putting custom made fiberbglass with woodgrain to match my interior for the kicks to mount a 6.5 speaker and 2inch tweeter or less

are you serious? unless you talking about surface mounting them aimed on axis im going to say dont do that.

A pillars are not that bad, you ending up hearing more reflection .
