If you are looking to change the color of a car. I believe you just select the area you want to change. I would use the polynomial selection tool. Then under filter or one of the catagories on the top there is a place where you can change the hue/saturation. I believe that is all there is to it. Not difficult at all. Good-tutorials which was mentioned I think is the best site. Also, feel free to pm me if you ever get stuck or need help.

x2...In my opinion good-tutorials.com has some of the better tuts out there and they're fairly easy to follow.

An easy way to change the color of stuff, like cars, is to use the color replacement tool. Just right click the brush tool and select color replacement. You will have to play around with it to get the hang of it, and you can only change it certain shades of that color. But as mentioned before, use the poly. select tool and select the area and do the hue/sat or fill it with a different color and set the opacity really low.
