i missed that part.. Pg is superior build quality. The octane amps are bullet proof aswell. Good bang for the buck

ya i don't think this is much of a comparison, the pg amps are much better quality.

i have the pg 8.0:4

i like the amp with 125watts @ 4ohms per channel vs the hifonics 110watts per channel.

I have been using the PG 8.0:1 sub amp with my AA Arsenal 12 for around a week. I've had it crankin' pretty good for 30-minute spans and it has remained cool.

I did quite a bit of research before I decided to buy it and I'm happy with it so far.

Just to throw another amp into the mix what about http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/2213? Would you still say Phoenix Gold over that Profile amp? Only thing I don't like about the Phoenix Gold amp is the look of it, but I guess it doesn't really matter as long as it's going to be under the seat.

Actually, the OP was comparing two 4 channel amps. The Hifonics was 55w/ch. and the PG was about 75 i believe.
