I want a simple opinion on Phoenix Gold Tantrums in terms of SPL and SQ? I'm not looking for supurb performance but something that can sound crisp and get loud if need be.

Sorry, I forgot to say they were the 12" subs.

couldnt tell ya on the subs....the amps are great.......im sure the subs are decent.....

the PG subs i have heard (can't tell you the model sorry) were quite amazing. they were great SQL subs. you can't really go wrong with PG.
