That amp is rated 800wmax and 500wrms@2ohm so you should be getting about 500rms not 800... check the PG specs and you'll see

looks like your diamond is 800wrms the PG at 500w will work fine. granted the sub could take more power but im a firm believer in all diamond products and would recommend them to anyone. if you already have the amp, run it and see if you like it. if not, consider how much bass you really want and go for there. there are a lot of people here that are willing to help you out if you need it.

just trying to find a clean amp 800x1 @ 2ohm not many options it seems like. Whats the minimum this sub can take? Im not a bass head and want my car rumbling all to hell. Just want nice clean bass to go with my mids,tweets. got 150x2 up front to my comps. Gonna do coaxials in rear 50x2. Alot of bass is fine as long as it goes with the rest of the system.
