Ive heard from many people that these amps draw alot of power and i believe so too, i havent upgraded anything electrical in my Jeep but i can clearly see the volts drop and my lights dim alot when the bass hits, im not sure how many amps my alt is but do u think if i upgraded it or got an optima batt that it might make the bass louder? or maybe just add a cap....

anytime you add alot fo current draw, you always need to add more juice to compensate...and yes, it will be better, because if you have a 2000 watt amp and it's not getting full voltage, your not putting out max power...

make sure youre getting a good ground contact from the amp and from your battery to the chassis. your stock alt is probably anywhere from 60 to 120 amps. if the big 3 doesnt do the job and your alt is less than say 80 amps, time to get a bigger alt. they arent too expensive.
