Anyone ever have any experience with these?

Particularly the A4100, I assume its a 100x4..Found one locally, and was thinking of picking it up. I know some of them were made by PPI, But I cant find any info on this model.

Thoughts as to wether it is collectible? Valuable? rare?

if you can get it cheap just pick it up and then open her up and check out the guts. should be a tell tale sign of whether its ppi or not. I'd buy it just because i like oldschool equipment even if its shitty oldschool equipment

I can pick it up for $70ish, But not sure if I need another "colectors Piece."

I may give it a miss. Similar ones on ampguts have poor specs.

idk, maybe go and offer $60.

This one says Philips sound labs, The ones on Ampguts are just Philips..Diffrent company?

Like Rockwood is to rockford and Kenwood?

May get it and a few of those Funky pups for it..that would be an insane build..

Couldnt resist..

I have no plans of using it atm, Also, I stated I assumed it was tagged as a 100x4, but I cant find any specs on this anywhere...

The guts look like some of the older Radio shack amps, or Sanyo's

Phillips and phillips sound labs are not the same company...Philips amps were black (and some of them were made by PPI) and some were marine apps...Most of them were made for OEM apps..I was a phillips dealer in the 90's..I sold them because no-one else in St. Louis did and I wanted something different...The head units were nice(looking) but nothing special and the amps were reliable if nothing else....

What you have there is a asian amp....We call it typonese when they use a familiar word mixed with other words in a brand or title to get someones attention..As you said...rockwood and rockford....

Someone also suggested it was a 1997 aurasound brand

"Built in 1997 by Aurasound (great company) . Retail was $299.

75RMS x 4, 150 x 2, .05 THD, 90dB SN, 2ohm stable."

That was From Brad Warren, An E Regular, Who is pretty good at knowing a lot of shit.

I am hoping to find an acual link to something about them.

I did find some company selling thier tweeters..

Some internals..The caps are sam young, a Korean company engaged in the manufacture and sale of electronic capacitors.

Also on the board

that 504n? maybe 50x4?
