Phase Linear DvD Deck

i just got one and hooked all the wires up. when i press the power button i can hear the beep, but it does nothing no lights come on or nothin only thing that works is the beep when i press the power button.

do i have something wired wrong? also i dont have the illumination cord from the car hooked to anything on the deck....no more cords left. and i have the yellow wire on the cars yellow wire. what am i doing wrong?

Do you have a harness?

Also, it's probably DOA... b/c it's a Phase Linear... a piece of junk...

Phase Linear are a peice a junk, cheaply made. I had one for about 6 months, thought I was balling because it was a pop up. But it sucks, sometimes the touch screen didnt work, took like ten seconds for the amp to cut on, man, sold mine for 50 bucks just to get it out my face...

you bought a phase linear product.

on the other hand. just pull it out and check it at the battery. connect the yellow and red to positive and black to negative and see if it works then. if it does its the wiring, if not, then it just doesnt work. also check the fuse on the back if it has one.

One trick with touch screens is after you have everything wired up, you have to strip a portion off the yellow + black wires, and put a small jumper wire between them to get the screen to function correctly.

if ur tryin to watch a movie or music video you have to bypass the parking brake ground so connect a wire on the ground of the harness to you parking brake ground
