PG Xenon and DLS A series sound quality.

I am not a competitor, nor do I claim to have a truly accustomed ear for great sound. I just picked up some Phoenix Gold Xenon amps for my new install. I will be running a x200.2 to my front stage (Rainbow CMX Kick), and an x600.1 to my sub (IDmax 12). I waffled over getting the DLS A series, but decided for the money to get the Xenons, and spend the difference on sound deadening. I was just curious if I made the right decision. I was looking at the A6 for sub stage and A3 for fronts. Obviously, the A6 is more powerful than my x600.1, but besides power differences on these amps, just how much of a difference is there is perceived sound quality?

Again, I'm not a competitor, and this is just a daily driver, but I want to have a very nice sounding system. Will I be able to tell the difference?

An amplifier on boost the signal, worry more about your speakers/comps/subs. A good amplifier cancels out what you shouldn't be hearing.

Never owned any DLS amps but I have owned the PG 200.2 Xenon, its a very good amp, built like a tank, plus it has a nice x-over.

You made a good decision. The xenons are great amps, and you probably wouldnt have heard any audible difference between the two amps anyways.
