They work well in both sealed and ported. Ide run them ported.

sorry i think you misunderstood or maybe i explained the question wrong.

Im going ported i just want to know if you guys think i should go with the recommended box specs that is around 2.25 for both woofers or shoule i go bigger? and im tuning it to 32 hz

i did a dual 10" octane R in a 2 cuft @ 27Hz and they pound. im sure the 12" at 2.25 or 2.5cuft tuned @ 32 would do just fine.

try winISD see what you get.

go with PG specs on these, i have used them and they are a decient sub, i ran them with only 200rms a piece (400 total)

PG goes thru alot of testing for there recomendation in box sizes cant go wrong by using there testing for your box size

or go ahead and email PG on htere website youll get an answer fast as hell
