PG lied! - Need new advice

does it need to be a 2ch amp? what sub(s) are u lookin to power here? and could u give use a final ohm load?
I am running two Adire Shiva's 8ohm 650RMS watts. Well im really tring to run these subs as stereo, if i can. So i need 2ch. if it comes down to it.. i know most amps are pretty strong bridged down. I can bring it down to 2ohm if needed as a mono. Im just really tring to stick to my stereo woofers.

I cant believe how hard it is to find a 400watt 4ohms @ 2 ch. I cant find any quality brand amps!

I have 2 Adire Shiva Mk IV's and I just have them wired up to a 2ohm load on a JBL BP 1200.1. Yeah its a mono load but the amp can be bought on eBay for $250-270 and provides you with 600w per sub. Also I never really considered subwoofers for directional sound in car audio since the bulk of the frequencies they reproduce are non-directional to the human ear and car audio systems are installed in a relatively small space compared to home theaters etc. So why do you want min 400w@ 4ohms stereo so bad?

Because i listen to tech, rave and dance ... and drumroll beats are difficult for mono. and if it dont work out i just turn it to 2ohm and max out my power.

I was looking at.. Eclipse 34230- 370watts 2ch 4ohm. what u all think?

Well I wish you good luck finding an amp in your price range that will put out that kind of power. I found one amp that will put out 400w x2 @ 4ohms @14.4v. It's a Rockford Fosgate Punch P8004 4ch amp. The MSRP on it is like $700 though, so you probably can find a similar product somewhat cheaper. But in the $200 range, I highly doubt it, unless you get something that "fell off the truck" or is very used.

I did a bit of looking around and I able to find the same amp in the low $400's on eBay. So I think for a quality amp of that output that is probably going to be the minimum you'll pay for something new.
