Dont plan on rallying the car, but a friend of mine has gotten me into autocrossing alittle so I think I am going do that though.

Alright, if you're referring to the Viper 1200D off Ikesound, I believe it is 1200 watts @ 1 ohm, and the XXX's rms is 1600.

If you're set on getting that Viper and getting an RE sub, the SX's rms is 1000 watts with like a 2000 peak, I think.

The Viper 1200D and an RE SX 12" would be pretty cool.

It says the dynamic power rating is 1500 watts for the viper and the rater power at 1ohm is 1200 watts. So do you have any other suggestions on a sub that would work better than a RE sub, with the Viper amp. So the XXX just wouldnt go with the viper at all? Chief

Although everyone here really really really likes the XXX, its not the end-all for all applications, this being one of them.

One thing i would consider is a less-expensive sub [than the XXX] (if you're set on RE, the SX is very good), and a custom box for it. The box means as much as the driver as far as i can tell.

Push it like 1500 @ 1. I reccommend Hifonics.

I gotta call bullshit. You would be fine with the viper on the XXX, you dont have to give it 1600. You could give it more, but it would be **** LOUD with the Viper.

So how much does a XXX 12 or 10 run for? Are there any good subs by diamond, adire audio, or memphis that could hold there own with the XXX, and still use the viper amp? Thanks, Chief

Just so you know I already bought the Viper 1200.1 amp, so thats why I want something to complement the amp. And I thought about trying to make my own box, with the dimensions they gave on reaudio.com for there XXX's. Chief

a xxx 12'' shipped is 405, and ofcourse thier are subs that are right up their with the xxx, such as the avalanche, soundsplinter rl-p's, adire brahma, jl w7(too expensive in my opinion), stereo integrity magnum d2, etc.
