I never said he was louder, but hell, look at extreme cars. Whats more fun to watch, scottie j burping a high 50's tone and shaking everything within 200 yards, or scott owens rolling up an 80 hz tone that you barely hear out of the car?

On a side note, marks 10 dB MR1 win was a REALITY class, not SPL.

IIRC, he's doing a 153 in the kick with 2 type-s 12's and a 2500d on two plain batteries (car off) and a 40 amp fuse (not sure about the fuse). This is NOT a wall setup.

So how about this, throw triple the cone area and more than triple the power and see what he can pull off?

4 15's, 4 20.1's (giving each amp a 50 amp fuse, and thats being generous), that would place you guys in LAST YEAR's M4, which really wasn't THAT bad of a class, but would still take a 160 to win.

Now, with the new rules (//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif), it would place that setup into MX2 because of the 16v system. I can't blame some people for leaving/hating MECA, they really jacked up the modified classes this year.

It was setup for the headrest... the setups aren't even remotely comparable?

I was running 16v, but the amp was only at 1 ohm? I didn't run 16v to get massive power, I ran it to gain that little bit of effeciancy.

Could it have been LOUDER with one battery/car off/different amps... sure...
