People with typeR's and TCAB....

2 12's isn't a terrible option - your hatch is apparantly larger than I thought.
Will make for a great daily beater setup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
Hooray!

EDIT: The box in my avator is 8 cubes gross. I say 7.5 just in case.

and this thread hasent been locked yet... why?

Because I still need opinions, lol. So back to MY thread..... 7.5 Cubes and a TX1505, Loudest DD SPL is the goal.

Two more things....

1) How can I find out exactly what's wrong with my 18 SX w/o shipping it to RE? There's only one local Audio shop that I know of and there lames.

2) How in hell do you guys not pop a 50A fuse with a 2500? That makes me wonder if 2 TX1505's are a possibility on my stock electrical:up2somet:

1) If you tap around the surround (where the surround meets the dustcap/cone) and it makes a "clanking" type noise when you tap on one part of the surround, its most likely a misaligned coil. Call up RE, tell them what its doing, and they'll probably confirm that.

2) We only run it for a short while. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yea but you run it very loud lol. I thought the initial rush of current is the one that blows fuses, Actually I'm pretty sure I know that and not just think it...If you don't blow it instantly it seems to me that you would able to play it for longer, i.e. play music. Maybe heat is involved, idk.

OR I'm wrong. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Certain fuses are known as "slow-blow", meaning they can take a good amount of current (more than what they are rated for) for a small period of time. The brand of fuse also makes a difference. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Voltage can also help out. The more voltage you have, the less current that is needed to produce the same amount of power. Less current draw=less strain on the fuse.

Shit I'm an idiot I should've remembered you guys don't run 12v systems. And I'm almost positive my 18 SX has a misaligned coil, Just gotta see what's up with RE.
