Why are people doggin his Buis? Is it just that you all **** and just need somthing to bash on. Try Bashin us (Phat Hertz/TCAB) in the lanes with #s and not on a audio site with words. That wont happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont know or care about meca finals..were talking about us using them..they were commercially available..there was posts regarding them pre-finals in the "usaci forum" of carsound...

Its a statement to show the ADVANCEMENT of the MECA format and an example of how the other formats have essentially grown stagnant.

Lets check a timeline here...

usaci goes by 4 ohm rating... amps come out that are rated for 1 watt and such at 4 ohm.

meca comes out, goes by the highest power rating of the amp

MECA starts driveby and reality

meca starts catching on, and amps come out that are highly underrated, or rated only at a higher load (the 20.1 was a 700 watt 2 ohm amp in 04)

usaci changes so that the rating system is much more like MECA's max power rating system

MECA changes to the fuse rule, eliminating cheater amps.

USACI starts street beat, modeled after driveby and bass race.

MECA has set trends, usaci has followed... the MECA format is much more advanced and will continue on that path. I'm too cheap to buy a CRX, yet your too cheap to buy some fuses... hrm...

Quite a claim... I'd love to see that posted on the usaci forum...

yeah, and it doesnt mean anything either...woulda/shoulda/coulda...doesnt matter. we won what class we entered by 3db's and was the loudest in any of the basic stock power classes[/story]

i dont really care how big a claim it is...

not to downplay things... but thats basic stock... which is supposed to be the equivelant to AS in MECA...'

You definitely wouldn't have won the equivelant stock class.
