u're going from an 18" SX down to 2 type R 12's or single type R 15....serously... WTF is wrong with people here.

I can see why you're getting scared. But you must of missed the thread were I told everyone how much of an idiot I was for blowing the 18 within the first hour of using it...... So technically I'm going from a 15 Mofo in 4 cubes@32 to 2 12's or 1 15 type R in a TCAB. I'm assuming this will be a noticeable upgrade.
ya id have to agree with u u are an idoit..but if mark at tcab recomends 1 15'' i beleive he knows his shit you might want to listen

Ahhh, the bass knob thread....heh, i remember that thread if that was the one.
For the price of a new Type-R 15 you can get the SX reconed, be louder, and sound just as good.
If your going to pay to get a TCAB with the Type-R have him make one for the SX instead. 7.5 gross is more than enough to port an SX 18. I ported an avalanche 18 in about 7.5 gross.

oh and going from a MOFO to a type R wont do you a whole lot of good for SPL. MOFO's are loud for what they are.

That sounds good. And yes, That was the thread I was referring to.
Any other opinions?
Also, I could sell my mofo/box and the 18 SX and maybe get something even better... The thing is I only have a TX1505 and 7.5 gross for a box, I'm only going to be able to get soo loud with those handicaps.

The funniest thing is that the 18 SX might not even be blown, I never even bothered to check it on my HT setup. It doesnt make a noise at all when you push on the cone a lil, There's no scrape sound. And the box I thought i "blew" it in was built like a pro gamer. lol I think i just exceeded the thermal powrer handling by far and there were prolly big *** leaks in the box. Imma check right now..... bb in 20.

Blown no one is going to want it locally, which is usually where you make the most money, especially if RE isnt know around your town. IF you get it reconed and RE isnt a well known company where you live you may be able to move it for 350 or so.
sell the mofo and box too and you could be the first of us to have a go at a new MX. Save some money and get a single XXX 12.
Thats as far as RE products
Other than that i'd wait around to see how ascendants new line is owning up to its old line. A single Havoc 15 may be in order.
a couple of Soundsplinter RL-p 12's
New Brahma 15 if you could locate one
See how Incriminator's new line comes out. Sapposed to be better in every way. a couple of LI 12's would kick.
