People with CD7000's using 3-way mode...

When using 3-way mode (Low, Mid, High) with this head unit how the hell do you control subwoofer bass boost?

There used to be a "Non-Fader" option to control just the subwoofer boost on 4-way mode but now there is a "Low", "Mid", and "High". The "Low" seems to boost both the side speakers and the subwoofer.

Any help?

why r u using 3-way mode if you're going /w a passive xover? the point of 3-way mode if to go active... that way you could set the xover points before amplification...

i say if you're going to use passives, go back to 2-way mode, front, rear, sub

not technically going active (mainly used for it though) but it can also be used when biamping a passive setup.

but yea i say go back to normal since you are using the passives especially if you aren't biamping them.

1. I have no rears

2. On 3 way mode it gives you the access to a 11 band equalizer, 1 for sub, 5 for mid, 5 for highs, as appose to a single 7 band equalizer on 2-way mode.

3. I say you check yo self foo! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

How do I access this t/a menu you speak of?
you should push "source" and the flip through the choice and one of them should be called time alignment. then flip through the choices then you'll get to the subwoofer area and you adjust from there. or refer to your manual.

never used a cd7000, but to my knowledge of how things work, you'd only be using 5 bands unless ur biamping. it'd be 5 bands for one set, 5 bands for the next set, and 1 band for the sub... juss my understanding of things...
