Port it out the back window, always makes mad DB's that way. Ask basebalz. Or his dad I suppose...
Hahaha jk Berger.
Theres really no need for you to try and prove me to be a noob because you're not going to get anywhere with it. Your lack of knowedge is quite obvious. What was your score at world finals anyway and with what gear? This should be interestingoh really dumbfuvck?
thats why i managed to do pretty dam good at finals with just 2 18's non walled against 8 15 in a 4th order, and dude with 6 12's in a ported wall
i missed 1st place by .2 db's which if i hadnt did something stupid i would have beat that.
so i think imma have to say i know my s-10 ext cab trucks
if your so smart? whats the best sub/port combo in it?
thank you for your help i appreciate it. i will go ahead and do the drivers port again .. i also got excellent advice from tommy s/n "RIO" on here as well .. i'm not a noob i just wanted to try a different type of setup besides the straight spl setup but if that's what i got to do i will go back to that.. i had tried streetmax in it about 3 years ago here's a pic of that box..Theres really no need for you to try and prove me to be a noob because you're not going to get anywhere with it. if you were louder with port on the passenger side compared to the drivers side in a wall then you definitely were doing something wrong.
EVERY SINGLE WALL IN THE WORLD IN THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS THAT HAS DONE WELL IN SPL HAS HAD THE PORT ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE MIC.
I dont even see how you can deny this..unless maybe you're talking about MECA and havin the sensor at the headrest then maybe itll be louder. But thats not what the original poster is suggesting anyway.
Just incase you really are living in a dream world heres a few pics of the loudest vehicles inthe world with the port on the opposite side of the sensor...in various classes aswell just so you dont think its based entirely on one class lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Ur a piece of work.

To answer the question to the original poster...start buy putting the port onto the far drivers side. Guaranteed once your port is tuned that you will gain quite substantially. Id estimate probably 3 or 4 db right away. A 4th order or even a 6th order bandpass would also be an interesting build to try aswell considering you have the space.
drivers side port doesnt have to be an SPL setup. You can either add in a thicker baffle for more port depth or make your enclosure bigger to lower your tuning more for daily driving.thank you for your help i appreciate it. i will go ahead and do the drivers port again .. i also got excellent advice from tommy s/n "RIO" on here as well .. i'm not a noob i just wanted to try a different type of setup besides the straight spl setup but if that's what i got to do i will go back to that.. i had tried streetmax in it about 3 years ago here's a pic of that box..

was doing 155's with not much box tuning .. never really dialed it in i'm sure i could of gotten more out of it but i wanted to try bass race.
i'm just saying if it doesn't do good numbers i could go to the blowthrough if needed and go back to 6 12's..No point in doing a blowthrough if you can fit a pair of 18s without one
