u wana match the draw from the amp i had a sundown1200d with 150 worth of fuses. i had a 100 amp under the hood and blew it in 5 secs or so. i went up to a 150 under the hood and all has been good for 3+months., most of the time a 4ga wire with 100amp fuse is good for 1000 watts

no matter how much watts you put, you still had an 150 amp fuse in your amp, and you blew your 100 amp, because you didn't match it, now that you upgraded for 150, u matched it.
