New amplifier is making my speakers quiet.

I had a Phoenix Gold Octane-R 5.0:4 bridged on my Rainbow comps, then upgraded to a Rainbow iPaul 2.400. But my speakers are really quiet, I have to turn it up way high to even barely hear it. I checked the polarity and it is right. Any idea what the problem could be?

I don't think it's that, each side is getting 130 watts, and it is significantly quieter.

Doesn't have gain controls, only has a remote, and I messed with those, didn't make a difference.

should have gain control on the remote. Make sure the connection is tight. Make sure your x-over is set proper as well.

Well it has gain control on the remote, but I really can't find a gain control on the amp itself.

never used it but to not have gain controls is odd

the silver strip on the top of your amp that says iPaul 2.400 is removeable and the gain controls and other adjustments are under there

Man thank you SO much, that's quite a place to put the gain knobs, and not tell the person lol. I looked all over their site and everything, couldn't find anything. But thank you so much man!
