I missed calculated Verlander's win percentage. I used his 2006 win loss record. His 07 win percentage was 750, same as Pedro's, so given Verlander had 18 wins, he would get the tie breaker, so that means Verlander would've won this bet last year.

The numbers are skewed because Pedro walked 7 but only pitched 29 innings, and Verlander pitched 200 innings and of course would walk more then 7. If you project pedro's numbers over the course of 30 starts, he'd still be behind Verlander in 4 categories, and they would both be tied with indentical win/loss records. That's why I wanted to make a stipulation that each pitcher pitches a certain amount of innings.
Go ahead and keep flamming. I originally said at the begining of 2006 the Tigers would be a good team. i also said the pitching staff would be good. I also said the Tigers would make a splash in the offseason, and you flammed me once again.
