I was pretty much going to buy the dei 1100d from ikesound then i was looking around and saw the PPI pcx1500, and i know i have heard ppi makes some nice amps, and it has a damping factor of >500 the dei only has >50.

Her is the PPI:

adn here is the dei:

which do you think would be better?, i am going for a powerful SQ setup with a 12" Type X in a sealed box.

One thing i am hesitant about the ppi is that it is so huge-- i already have an amp the size of a surfboard for my 4-10" setup and im trying to downsize.

Wow. I didn't even know they had those PPI's that cheap. Umm.. I'd still prob stick with the Directed though.. I mean.. you said you need to downsize.. plus it would save you a lil bit of money.. I don't think you could go wrong either way though.

That PPI is refurbished which is why it's cheaper. I'm losing confidence of the reliability of the newer PPI amps because I have seen so many of the newer ones refurbished for sale.
