60amp alt orion 1500d

Saw this thread posted and i thought i should ask for my amp. Also the guy i talked to at auto zone (probably the dumbest man alive) said getting a new alt is the jackass way to do it and i should get 1-2 caps. What do you think about that? I have a brand new battery in the car but i doubt it is high performance. Also how should i go about doing the big three? Should i do the big three?

Yeah,I`de say that guy is a real jackass.I`de look into getting a hi output alt.search the forums for companies.theres a few that make them.also do a search for the big 3,you`ll find a sh*tload of threads bout it.I`de hook ya up with some links but my connection is bein a real pita.Hope that helps.

there is no orion 1500D unless it has just been introduced in the past week. the guy at autozone is a uber jackass. do big 3 and proper grounds and wire size before alt.

well hes not really a jackass lol. just doesnt know much. i doubt he knows that caps r shit i am pretty sure that he thinks they help out.

He sounded like he was high and looked like it to. Just rechecked and i must have been tired last night. It's a Directed Audio 1500D. So i should do the big 3? That's just like replaceing alt-to-battery, battery-to-amp, and battery-to-ground with much bigger wires right? ( my uncles a mechanic so i'm sure if that's all there is to it i can buy the wire and have him help me finish in like 1/2 a day)

it's not battery to amp but engine to ground. make sure to have good size wire going to the amp.
