I'm the opposite.......lol. Last ATI card I owned was a 9200SE or something like that. I got an eVga 8800GT superclocked now. One da I will actually use it. I was thinking that or he has it in the wrong pci-e slot if that's possible. Not sure if ou are running one card does it have to be in a specific pci-e slot.

1. i have the 4850 and although it runs fairly hot, i love it, runs crysis on high settings very easily at max res. and i can turn around half the settings to ultra high, not bad for $180.

2. if he had it in just a regular PCI slot it would be a problem, but as long as it was a PCI E slot it would still work, just run at a slower speed possibly

Edit to 2: that would only be the case if his mobo was like mine and only had 1 pci e x16 slot and the rest are only x8

I use my plasma as my monitor, so that's why i haven't really used it yet. Might upgrade my tv one day, but I'm not in a hurry.

I forgot to plug in the 4pin ATX 12V plug lol only reason it wasnt booting but since the mobo LED displayed it was running thats why I looked over it by accident...installing all drivers now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'll post pixzors once I get everything updated and installed.
