Sounds like you didn't have enough money in the bank to do all the transactions. Paypal is linked to your bank yes, but if you are overspending, they have nothing to do with that. I've never been refunded through paypal, so I don't know if the money shows up as soon as the seller clicks refund or not.OK, just checked my bank account today and it shows I'm -$400 in the hole due to a payment to AudioQue. The payment was made and was refunded to me from DJ on Oct 25 the very same day because the amps were not in stock. My PayPal account showed "Refund completed" on the same day.
However, I check my account history today and lo and behold $389 was withdrawn yesterday (Oct 27) by PayPal! Now the other three transactions I had pending for my check card have gone through as well and caused me to overdraft to the tune of $20 each.
Anyone got a refund and this happened to them? Now I'm stuck with $60 in overdraft fees and waiting on the "refund" from PayPal. When can I expect this? Are they gonna pay for my overdraft fees? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
I know this I just was not aware PayPal would go through the entire "queueing process" of waiting 2 days, withdrawing the money, and waiting another 3-5 days to refund it when I paid and got refunded all in about 2 hours.Sounds like you didn't have enough money in the bank to do all the transactions. What the hell are you talking about? He made a payment for $400 and $325. Where was paypal suppose to get the money? this isn't monopoly money. They withdrew $400 for the first payment. then the refund should've went into his paypal account, then it takes 2-3 business days to go back into his bank account. He then ignorantly spend the money without checking his finances and wants paypal to cover his ignorance.do a print screen and take it to your bank. tell them what happened. If you were refunded the money before it ever came out of your bank account then paypal had no legal right to take it out.
We're telling him how it is. He screwed up.i'd suggest ignoring the people that choose to bash instantly rather than read what happened and give a helpful reply. They are obviously jealous that they couldn't afford a $400 amp and are trying to make their sorry good for nothing ***** feel better about themselves.
That's your fault Brah. You had a refund pending and you went and basically withdrew 325 more dollars from your checking account. Call your bank and if you are in good standing, they might waive one or 2 of them. Don't blame Paypal for doing its job.No after the payment was refunded I made a $325 payment to a gentleman on RoE for the same amp the next day. THAT was pulled out along with the $389.
thats the point, if they actually would have refunded his money as fast as they take money he would have already had HIS money back to cover the 325 that was also payed with paypal. they double dipped his bank account. they couldn't legally take the 400 3 days later if it was refunded. What the hell are you talking about? Yes this is what I assumed oh well I will deal with the consequences.Honest mistake.
You make payment and when refunded you assumed that since it was instant that it would still be in your acct. Not true. Money only goes to your bank when requested.
The $325 was overdrafted because paypal hadn't deposited his $400 fast enough.thats the point, if they actually would have refunded his money as fast as they take money he would have already had HIS money back to cover the 325 that was also payed with paypal. they double dipped his bank account. they couldn't legally take the 400 3 days later if it was refunded.
