paypal dispute against me.. not mentioning names yet....

well i sold somethin on here about a month ago... buyer received product, and i thought was very happy with it.... month goes by, and buyer now pms and says he just got the product back out and it will not power up.... now tonight i see in an email he has filed a dispute that says product is significantly not as described, so im thinkin that im gettin screwed..... what should i do??? buyer clearly says it functioned when it arrived, and i tested this thing and had used it with no problems whatsoever... paypal put it to me on a half.com transaction with schoolbooks about 2-3 years ago siding for the buyer even though i had tracking numbers and everything..... what can i do??????

take all ur money out of ur paypal account? if it's been a month and he takes it out and it doesn't work then it's his dumbass' fault for messing it up

tell that to the judge, oh wait, there is none. paypal WILL side with buyer, no doubt, that is if the buyer cooperates with paypal.

i figure paypal will side with teh buyer.. i still have pms where he is happy with the product and even says it sounds great when it arrived... should i call my bank/ cc and tell them to freeze the accounts, or shut down my paypal..im afraid if i do that it will look like im trying to run and that will make them think im really to blame....can they get money if you stop the service? what would be best for me right here i dont wanna end up out about $100.... after shipping thats what im lookin at

PP told me they do not care what happens with descriptions, that the ONLY way they will give money back is if the item is not recieved. Sorry about this bro, good luck. And as they said, take your money out.

Paypal does not deal with "not as described" claims unless purchased through ebay.

Dispute the claim.

even after a month the product was purchased and was in good condition when the buyer got it and used it? When he took it out it got messed up, that's his own fault. im not gonna say yet... it hasnt went to a claim yet he just filed the dispute... when it goes to a claim i will be sure to let everyone know... kinda sucks ive had a lot of good deals on here until now..... ive still got all tracking numbers and insurance info from the post office, as well as the pms and what not... we will see what happens

You said you had PM's from him stating everything was fine an it worked. Show them to paypal if somthin happens.
