will grill cloth affect my sound?

I want to build a box like this (minus the t-top holder) and make a frame around the whole top and stretch speaker grill cloth over it to make one full beauty panel.

The thing I'm wondering is if this will affect my sound waves at all? When i looked up the speaker grill cloth the seller said "Acoustically transparent grille cloth resists fading and provides Uv protection for speakers." but i just wanted to make sure. Thanks

uh...why do you think it's called speaker grill cloth????? It's designed to let the sound through. Have you not noticed 99% of home audio speakers have a grill on them that's cloth.

I don't notice any sound issues with mine....
