the pathfinder speakers on a 1994 model are 5 x 7. can you fit 6.5" mids in there? if not, what would i have to do to do it?

Make a baffle out of MDF that covers the entire 5x7 hole, then just cut out the diameter driver you want to fit.

6.5 is going to be real tight, play with your mesurements until you get it to fit.

umm i dont think u have too much play room on a pathfinder, just cause the door cover is pretty tight on the door.. is it for the rear or front?

6.5" will fit. It's a shallow door in regards to the window being right behind the speaker. With a 3/4" MDF spacer on my door, my old ID CX mids were hitting the window.

You can go to a shop or BB/CC and pick up some 6.5" spacers that will work.
