well thats already what i do in life, i realize i only have 1 life to live so i am shooting for the stars no matter what. Im not gonna be dissapointed if i don't make it, but i sure as hell want to try.Shoot man be one of those sports agents. You have to have some idea of the law if your defining their contracts and stuff right? I may be waaay wrong, but dude even the worst people in the NFL make 400K and you'd get 10% of that per person.
You could have three shitty NFL players as your clients and you'd still make 120K a year. Think of if you landed a 1st round prospect. They get 40 Mil contacts. 10% is 4 million dollars.
I can't imagine how hard getting a JD/MBA would be at the same time, JD sounds more than hard enough. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif I also don't have an undergrad business major though, all I have is a b.s in Political Science. But i'll be like 23/24 when I graduate law school, if I have to work a job paying me crummy money for a few years rather than try to get a corporate job paying 120k a year, im fine with that. I just want to do something that will help me in eventually openeing my own firm, that's my ultimate goal in law.get your JD/MBA at the same time and learn how to market yourself/future business. Becoming a public defender will not help you much for your future plans..they deal with petty shit like minor felonies and such. However, gaining court room experience and meeting people is why I am working for the public defenders office in a summer or 2. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Own firm= prosecutor/public defender. You get paid like crap, but the experience is great and they are always looking to hire. IIRC, its a 3 year contract though to be a state prosecutor here, because everyone works a year and starts their own firm. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifI can't imagine how hard getting a JD/MBA would be at the same time, JD sounds more than hard enough. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif I also don't have an undergrad business major though, all I have is a b.s in Political Science. what does that mean? Do you mean firm owners make the same as prosecutors/p.d's? Or do you mean it is a given that when someone wants to own their own firm, they must have experience with prosecuting or being a public defender?Own firm= prosecutor/public defender.
