My Town's Abandoned Missile Base

Ok so, today we went to E.H.s hidden missile base, which unfortunately had all entrances sealed off but one...and even the ones that were sealed off, they really really tried to keep sealed by compressing a lot of soil into them, which means that my little crew is going back during this summer, and we're literally going to dig it back up, and hopefully there won't be as much water at that point either, sorry about the dark pictures, it was really....really dark, and the bright pictures are only because of the flash.

Also, if anyone is willing to come up to E.H. and help us do this, I think it will be a pretty fun time.

started out walking about an older paved road

we came to the hole, it's the one next to pedro taking off his hoodie

we had to fit in that little thing, which was definitely no fun. I'm pretty sure that some kids or some people dug this up at some point, because it definitely wasn't made like this by anyone working for the state

inside of course it was destroyed by previous kid visitors, what else is new

we could only go so far since it was so dark and full of soil

here was the other end, as can be seen it was completely flooded and soil compressed

eventually we had to of course give up since it was flooded from the ****ing rain most likely, and probably will stay like that because the soil is pretty solid >:O

I might even bring a wet suit and go back down there, no lie

so then, we try to find alternate entrances

what looks to be a buried front entrance

we pulled this up

I actually was able to dig through some soil with my hands and get to another small room, unfortunately it was completely blocked off, and in the process my camera's window was destroyed, therefore I figured my camera was broke and couldn't take pictures, but of course I find this out after I get back out of the room -_-

i wasn't about to go back down, since the entrance was no more than a foot and a half tall, which is why the camera got destroyed in the first place

then I took this really cool image on the way back

the coolest thing ive well i didn't find it but i explored it, is on my schools campus there is an entrance to the underground railroad it goes to like 6 houses on main street and to under the gym in my school its pretty cool.
