Parametric settings PPI PAR-225

I am currently running the following for my system:

Car: 99 Taurus

Fnt Dr: Dynaudio System 240 (7" and 1"twt)

Kick : Dynaudio System 220 (5" and 1" twt)

Sub : Dynaudio MW190 (Single 12")

Xover: PPI FRX-322

Amps: PPI AX-400 and A-600

The problem I am having is the overlapping of frequencies, and the sensitivity of the dials. It is very harsh on high end and muddy at times in vocals. Is anyone running any components using the 225? If so where are your settings at.

to give you the settings of someone that has the same or similar pieces of equipment would not be a good idea, because of acoustic differences in the vehicle. Plus you have a pretty heavy front stage (very nice though) the best thing to do is go piece by piece front to rear running only your front speakers, play something with good range and set everything like that get your front stage right first.

It does sound like you have a really heavy front stage. Having two tweeters often creates that harshness you described. You should have an RTA done on your car and see where you need to adjust.
