Panasonic HU goes blank help?

hi everyone got a problem

i have CQ-C8400U-

it played fine for like 2 months or more but then it started to trip out.Sometimes when i barely touched the deck the screen would cut out or the deck would just reset itself,now i havent seen it do this in awhile but today something new-

its playing the cd and the screen turns off but music still works if i turn the volume or press anything it comes back on then goes out again it goes out about 5 seconds everytime u get it on,even when i use the remote to turn volume on the screen comes back,so its nothing to do with touching it,anyone know why it does this? need more info ill tell ya just ask

maybee the contacts are dirty or bended so the faceplate contacts dont toucht he head unit ones...

sounds like a power saving feature check the manual for blackout
