Pair of 13tw5-3, Which Hifonics amp do you reccomend?

I'd say get a better amp, I wasnt too impressed with my Hifonics amp. Once i switched to my current Memphis amp, it was like day and night (despite what people told me about how i wouldnt be able to tell).

If youre gonna spend the money on subs and with a $700 budget for an amp, youre looking at hifonics???....thats like seeing Bill Gates on a Kia lot.

You're trippin, what hifonics amp did you have? I have swapped my BRZ2400 with a kicker 2500 and I noticed no difference at all. All settings the same. And the BRZ2400 is 200-300 less than the kicker was

I prefer and use the hifonics. I have a old bxi1210d that took a beating but it still puts out just as hard as ever. Yes there are better amps out there than both of the ones im talking about.. but I paid $319 for a solid *** amp that I forsee working for a long time. It's not that I'm on a budget, but why spend the money when the output isn't going to be that noticeable is what it comes down to for me.

ive had my hifonics bxi2610 for about a year now...no over heating and its a beast.. ive had about 3 brutus series so far. so id say go with hifonics if you want good cheap power

lots of fail in this thread....namely that the JL sub in question is an "sq" sub that needs "clean" power...we are talking about class D amps here, and you are comparing an unregulated power supply amp to a regulated power supply amp...think about those thoughts for a second....lastly, OP, your budget allows you to buy a better amp then a Hifonics for sure, but dont have these people tell you that a Hifonics is "too dirty" for the sub in question

I had a brz1200. As a budget amp, its ok....id choose it over audiopipe, but I was really not impressed. They are very power hungry and they don't have the cleanest sound. If I had some JL 13w5's and a $700 amp budget I wouldn't even think about a Brutus. Take it for what it is, its a decent budget amp, but his subs are not budget subs.

Now that I think about it, my cadence Dakota even sounded better than my Brutus.

I never said it was too dirty, but I feel like if you're gonna buy nice subs then they should be put on a nice amp.
