PAC OS-2 Bose (need to make sure I am on the right track)

I am getting ready to install a Avic Z2 in a 06 trailblazer SS. I have a 5 channel amp, sub and 4 new door speakers installed. Still have the OEM speakers in the dash which I wont use for audio.

This was a Bose system with 6 disk.

It is my intent to buy a PAC OS-2 Bose adapter with chime module so I can retain onstar and chimes. I "think" it will run the Onstar through the bose amp with this unit and to the dash speakers if I leave the OEM harness in tact.

The PAC unit also shows connecting speaker outputs from the head unit to the PAC. I wont need these for the audio but was wondering if there was any other use for them.

Installed and working.

Pac OS-2 bose or OS-2 non bose will both work. I chose the bose and used the bose amp and dash speakers for onstar.
