MMM I prefer to run the red and yellow top.
Question- I am going to run a red top under the hood and yellow top in the back. It doesn't matter what size yellow top I get right? Since I am going to put it in the trunk.

i'd get a big *** D31 commercial yellowtop

use a 34 or 31 and make sure you get a battery isolator. SOmeone told me runing 2 different batteries requires the isolator as to not kill each other trying to regulate to the same voltage.

Thought I needed to add some thing to the two but I wasn't sure because everybody I have spoken to that has two batteries never brought no isolator up. It is required, correct?

I asked the same question and was told since the batteries are not identical they would be sending power back and forth trying to regulate until one died.

it's not required but could be usefull. both batteries will charge without an isolator, but they won't be isolated.

Yeah I guess I'll go ahead and get one, seems like it will be better for me.

Thanks guys. Seems like im going to get the PAs and the Optima batteries.
