Not really looking into MA audio. I prefer PA but wanted to see what the majority of you suggest between the two.

Any problems ever with it? Has it ever turned off from abuse?
Just talked to my friend about his 1800d and he said he has never had one problem. Only problem was one time he had to slam the brake and the power wire disconnected, which isn't a problem on the amps part.

It is RMS. I sold the amp to him btw, very strong amps. The rating simply means that is the max RMS output that the amp will do, not max power entirely.
