PA A3000db at 0.5 Ohm ???

Now I am pushing one Type R 1222 at 1 Ohm with that amp (gain in min. position). Planning to purchase another one 1222 and wire two subs in parallel at 0.5 Ohm. Will be able PA to push with that impedance? Actually, I don't use my system hard for a long time for street party's. Only sometimes with max. volume within 5-10 minutes. Thank's

I currently am running 2 strapped PA 3000's on a pair of Memphis m3's. Which should show each amp .5 ohms. Been fine so far (1 month).

I ran them all the way down to .35 and didn't have any problems. I wouldn't do that low daily, but for burps sure. Very tough amps, I abused the living $hit out of mine.

Well mine about burnd my car down at 1 ohm daily..........so I wouldnt trust it as far as I chucked mine..............which was far............should of seen the white smoke trail.

i ran mine at .5 daily for a few weeks it held up strong but i never ran it for more then 15 minutes. It got pretty warm.

i dont see it doing 3000 watts ever really. The amp will put out some dirty power compared to most other amps. So you must watch the gains. I dont run mine all day long. No more then 20 minutes at a time. But they have never shut off or went into protection.
