Get off my lawn.
Any of you fatties tried it? Im considering it. BUT I really dont want to stop going to the gym to work out in front of my TV. Anyone have some REAL insight on it? I know Im not gonna be ripped to shreads in 90 days from it, but feel having someone lead me through workouts would not be a bad thing. And the included meal plan is always a bonus....

a couple of my buddys got it and the one is a major athlete and he said it was the only time hed ever puked. they said if you stick to it for the whole 90 days they dont see how you cant get ripped.

for me, the biggest thing is eating. I know its like 60-70% of the whole "plan" but with 2 kids and wife and I always running to and fro, its tough to eat the right things all the time. Often, its quick, and somewhat nutritional. By no means am I looking for a magic pill, I know it takes work and dedication but I already go to the gym at least 4X a week. Feel I am going in circles sometimes. Think it would be a nice change but then I would miss the change SOON.

What are the workouts like? Daily? Time period? Is it more of a cardio based program with some natural resistance?

Ive completed it once.

Did I get insanely ripped? No. But I did gain a bit of muslce and Im more cut. But I bet someone could get real ripped with the program.

For me, Im already skinny to begin with, so I wasnt doing it to lose weight. I did put on a bit of muscle and Im a little more cut. What you get out of the program is what you put into it. It takes a TON of focus and you HAVE to stay motivated. No slacking off. You will only have one day a week for rest (and thats optional).

Me personally, I hated the legs and back DVD along with plyometrics. I like working my legs, but Im not very flexibile so some of the moves were hard that killed my state of mind. Two months into it I started going to the gym for legs. As for plyo, I stopped doing that a month through. I hated it, so I started doing kenpo on that day or playing indoor volleyball for the cardio and jumping action.

Give it a try dude. Right now Im going to the gym to try to get back to my old level of strenght and then do the program as second time and put more effort into it this time around. I weighed 180 after the program and now I weight 165. Work and school made me not want to workout. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

This program works. My buddy won the Ray Guy Award recently for nations best punter. He made me get on this p90x program and I got almost as ripped as him. I'm sure drinking protein after the workout helped too (I will not debate this).

I used it for about 20ish days..and I saw great results, to bad I had to have surgery //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I plan on getting back on it at the beginning of next year

My friend rants and raves about it. I just can't get behind the idea of doing my workout in front of a tv instead of in the gym. The gym itself is mostly what gives me the motivation to keep going every day.

I've tried stationary cardio equipment and a weight bench in my house, but it's just not the same. I mentally pump myself up before I go and dedicate myself 100% since I've already made it out there.

To get ripped abs you have to have very low body fat. Like 10 percent, lol. I want to try this thing, but i know it is going to be f'ng hard. Especially since i lift everyday anyways.
