I've always liked the black Vibe's as a good budget amp - they weren't that far off with their power ratings, and of course, were pretty affordable.
Seems the more recent non-Opti models have worse ratings. I BELIEVE the 234 is very similar to the old 230, and I think your 100x2 guesstimate is pretty close to what it can really do - close to 300 bridged.
Given its ratings I would HOPE it does more, but its size, fuse rating, price, and even the location of the controls mirrors that of the black ones.
