Where should I get body building mixes or w/e. I heard creatine is bad for you or just puts water in your muscles. I'm 5'10 and wiegh 145ish and want to get some muscle. I'm almost skinny as eric from that 70s show lol. Give me some advise so I can see some quick results and keep them.

Get some whey protein mix.

Eat a shit load of protein everyday 1.5-2grams of protein per pound you weigh. Healthy stuff tho. Fish, beef, chicken, turkey..

You can either buy some weight gainer or make your own weight gain shake with protein powder, peanut butter, milk, ice cream, bananas stuff like that

Read around on some sites. Everything you need to know is on the internet.

creatine does put water in your muscles but please tell me where it says that water in your muscles is a bad thing...you are not cutting them off to eat after..so im not sure why it should be a problem to you.

Creatine is one of the cheapest supplements you can use its natures muscle builder if you dont wanna use thats fine but its good.

Look in the phone book or ask some guys around town who look like they lift i guess..

online is normally cheaper if you can buy online i would

here in ohio we have vitamin world and vitamin shoppe in our malls that have alot of stuff. like stated above best way to gain weight is to eat alot of protein. also when you are in some of these stores just ask some of the people that work there. most of the places have pretty knowledgeable employees.

You need a solid lifting routine , and take in 2grams of protein per lb of body weight. spread out over 5-6 meals a day. Magic powders and hype products are just nonsense. Main staples of a lifting diet: Chicken breast, Tuna , Steak, egg whites liquid or traditional, complex carbs like (real) brown rice. Natural Peanut butter. And just as a means of adding some protein after your lifts to help recoup use a simple protein drink. 40 grams directly after your weight training and your good. This will allow some solid gains.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

if i were you i would at least get some optimum nutrition 100% whey, sizeon, good multi-vitamin/fish oil, and train 3-5 days a week. i would also get all that stuff on ebay or there are sites that do price-matching.

I had your same problem last year. I am 5'9 and last year I was around 125 pounds. I'm now at 170 lbs. All you really need is a whey protein shake to take RIGHT after you work out like everyone has said, because the whey protein is absorbed and processed fast in your body and gets the amino acids needed to rebuild the tiny tears in your muscles to the right spots very quickly. Like they said, diet is also important. I would stay away from creatine and the nitric oxide supplements (NO explode, NaNO vapor, etc) for now and just do it naturally. It is healthier and it works if you're committed. I'm kinda proof of that (I'm still not huge, but come on, 45 pounds of mostly muscle is a big gain)

how old are you?

If you are under 21 def forget about creatine...actually forget about it at all.

I knew a guy who was a Bbuilder and he sold me coupla protein products and asked me if i wanted creatine and told me its up to me if i wanted to take it or not but when i was leaving his house last time i overheard his borhter (20 yr old) asking him if he cud take creatine and all he replied to him was "U crazy?"

that's stupid and horrible horrible advice. Creatine has been around for decades with no adverse effects. The results are amazing. Some people used to get bloated from it but 'new' forms of it are out that don't cause this.

As for the "it only adds water weight'' argument. Well yea.....because muscles are made of about 90% water (not the exact number).

Taking any supplement is of course, completely up to you. But do a lot of research in what you take and don't just listen to someone who heard something from someone who heard somethin from someone who once worked out at the same gym as coleman

o and creatine does not affect your anabolic drive so age doesn't really matter
