OSU KICKS ND'S BALLS AND TAKES THE FIESTA Bowl - POOR ORegon

michigan plays directional schools in michigan and big ten....granted they are going to have 4-5 tough games a yr but they always get a schedule where they should win at least 7 of those games. indiana, illinios arent real games lol it allows them to gear up the second teamers for 3 quarters.
Well, guess what? They're part of a conference and when you're part of a conference you play those teams. To be honest I wouldn't mind seeing Michigan putting a tough non-conference game on their schedule in the next year or so. Oh and what is a directional school??

Nice to see some college fans on here. I'm a ND fan and I'm currently stationed in Knoxville, TN home of UT. It's miserable here, orange and white everywhere. I'm used to the hating on ND so these posts aren't surprising, ND is the Dallas Cowboys of college ball you love 'em or hate 'em.

Adam I think it will be a few years before Michigan does any mopping w/ ND. As long as ND beats Michigan I can live w/ the rest of their season. Only team I hate worse is any school from Florida.

So you would base a whole season success on whether they beat Michigan or not??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

Look how they played

Almost every opponent they killed

AND THE TWO THEY LOST were by one play a piece, one which shouldnt of counted. They have playe da way better season then oregon!

God I hate homers that follow this retarded logic. How does one of the top academic research universities in the nation manage to have the stupidest fans?

If they are way better why do they have 2 losses? Oh yeah, because they aren't way better, just way more popular, and I honestly think Oregon would clean thier clocks, as it took end of game heroics to squeak by a non-bowl eligible Stanford! Notre Dame is NOT god's gift to college football, and they did not deserve the Fiesta bowl over Oregon. And for the record I fuking HATE Oregon. For years Oregon State fans have had to base the entire season on the Civil war- Beat Oregon, the year was worth something, get your *** handed to you like we did this year? Total loss.

In recent news Notre got into the Fiesta Bowl beating out an opponent ranked above them?
Well you may ask yourselves why would this happen why would a team that is technically worse then another team get into a bowl?

The answer has two answers:

1 is that they are Notre Dame. They are the worlds favorite football team and they would bring the most crowd in on the Television. This meening that a company would make the most money off of them. No one cares about oregon so no one would watch them.

2 Strength of schedule - Now everyone can say what they want about Notre Dame but look at their schedule every year. Pre-Season they had the toughest. You cant plan on the teams they play being a bad team. They play teams like, Purdue - a big ten team, Michigan - another big ten, TENN - Another should of been top teamer, Michigan State - not so hot but did beat them this year, USC best team in the nation - got screwed out of a win, by a cheap push by reggie bush. They have the hardest strength of schedule going into the season, but after the season it was weak.

ORegon played USC and lost badly, besides them their next toughest opponent was Fresno State - JOKE, and CAL - Joke

This is why ND got it a nd it makes me laught to hear Oregon fans bitc`h haha

That is funny right there. I think you have watched rudy to much or something.

I will give it too you though on the tough schedule they have.

OHIO STATE is gonna whoop them anyway. Or at least they better.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

ND is waay better than Oregon. Oregon has a weak schedule, because they're in a **** conference, w/ the exception of one, all the rest are flash in the pan teams. The only hard game Oregon had this year they got blown away. Oregon lost to USC by 32 points! That's not BCS material kids.

He'll be back. He's not really a NFL QB prospect anyway. He'll get drafted but will play runnning back or receiver or something but not a QB. He has ZERO touch on his passes.
Another person who hasn't seen many Texas games this year...I know people up north haven't as my parents have tried to watch them, and only got to see about three.

He's certainly not perfect, but he's been throwing VERY well this year. Just has a weird *** throwing motion.

As far as being a pro prospect, there was an article on si.com where one NFL GM was quoted as saying Vince would be a top 5 pick if he came out. I think if he waits another year, he could very well be the #1 pick.

anyone that thinks the pac 10 is any worse a conference than any other conference is kidding themselves. Every conference has schools that are intermittently good, and except for a few schools every school plays cupcakes in the preseason because a single loss ruins the season (potentially) Did ND play a tougher schedule? Absolutely. Did USC beat down the Ducks? Yup. Did Oregon blow up Stanford. Yup. So lets see...Oregon got pwned by SC who ND barely lost to (and should have won), and ND barely squeaked by Stanford who Oregon Pwned, so I'd say they are even...until that pesky 2nd loss to a team that went 5-6. Oregon got hosed in a popularity contest and the domers are going to lose to Ohio State

Can you recite the last time Michigan went 6 - 5 ??
..............I'm waiting.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Even then who cares if a couple of their bowls during this streak were "loser" bowls.....atleast they went to a bowl and made money for the school. No other school can say that.

Michigan has a winning record every year. Period. Not even Notre Dame can say that. No other program can say that. Michigan has the longest streak and just because you don't like it doesn't mean its going away.
Edited: I'm editing this to simplify what I said. UM has a great program. I and many others are simply tired of hearing about how wonderful the Wolverines are going to be each year, and then see them stumble time and time again. They've only won one Nat'l Championship since 1947 despite being a dominant program. I'd consider Nebraska to have been a much more consistent and dominant program over the years considering their streak was the longest until last year and have won quite a few more Championships during that time.

But losing to Michigan State is.

Yea I'll take a loss to Michigan St. At least they gotta decent schedule. Yea a loss is loss but 32 points come on, and then expect a bowl?

The difference is that ND can capitalize on this bowl trip and Oregon could never dream of beating Ohio. Personally I was rooting for a ND-Oregon game because I'm sick of ND-Big 10 games.

Alright tell me this buddy. How does the pac-10 compare to the SEC? they don't at all. Pac-10 is all offense. The onyl good team they have is USC, and USC is ganna get clocked by TX.

If you have ever looked at a comparison for teams that go up against eachother it will show you their strengths and weakness' and they made one up for Notre Dame. It showed Notre Dame ahead of them in EVERY CATEGORY - except Special teams. So i do not know how you could say they are a better team. The only other category that was close was pass defense, beause of ND's cornerbacks. Overall though they gave ND at B+ while giving Oregon a B-.

Oregons schedule is unbelievably easy. ND would be undefeated(possibly, but the USC game might give them one loss, unless there was a rematch)! I also believe ND would beat every team by 20 or more just like they have done too many teams this year.

Anyways no matter how many comparisons you do you will never know the truth. No one can say who could win ayn game unless it was played, but they can still talk trash. Best of luck to Oregon, how much money did they get for the Capitol One Bowl game - couldnt of been anywhere near the 14.5 mil ND is getting haha

I don't agree with this, even though I'm a HUGE Longhorn fan and even graduated from UT. You simply cannot ignore the fact USC has won 34 straight. That team knows how to win period, and I don't forsee a blowout by either team. USC's offense is too **** good to think they won't score at all.
