certain areas near UCF are infested with ricans and don't go south of 50 if you can help it, crime is getting a lot worse, but if you are able, try and stay in the winter park area, it's extremely nice over here.

Where in wp do you live? I live right near the high school.

I currently live in Maitland-bout 15 mins from the "city" and 15 mins from UCF.

There are TONS of apartments being built right now in maitland. I bet you could score something nice. It is a great place to live, nice roads (WP) and great location from everything.

Winter park doesn't have nice roads at all. They bricked most of the ones downtown but decided they could slow traffic down by purposely making them unsmooth, then the paved roads aren't too great. Although maitland on the other hand repaves their roads every 5 minutes.

make sure you don't move to crime hills, mercy drive, or anywhere else stupid. Those places are sure to get you shot and killed. Even if everyone in pine hills has 4ft rims.

i know lil bout those areas. im lookin at areas like: seminole county, winter park, winter springs, maitland, apopka, altamonte springs, and oviedo. still researching other areas. if there are some others please list or if i list some that i need to stop lookin at let me know

Those all look good I have lived out by ucf and about 5 min from downtown off Conway and curyford I like it much better over here off conway and I am from a small town in VA been here for 13 years now. Now I lived out near UCF before it blow up in the past 5 years its better out there now much traffic really does **** out there worse then here right in the city I think.

Make sure you skip OBT "Orange Blossom Trail" as well very bad area in 90% of the cases.

im about 45min from orlando... straight shot east, get on 50 and ride it all the way to the end and your in my town (titusville) im about 25min from merritt island, 40 from daytona, 40 from melbourne, and 45 to o town... sweet *** spot to live if you ask me. i have 6malls to shop at, the avenues (viera) merrit square, melbourne, florida mall, Melina mall, and waterford (otown)

I really like Winter Park, it's near everything in Orlando and the people are mostly middle age or retired with kids. So the town is nice and orderly aka there's not crime everywhere and hookers aren't on the street corners.

Agreed! If you go to my web site I have a good map on the contact us page where I will and will not travel to. Most of the reason do to crime rate out of the area of the map. Might help alittle.

Look at Lake Mary Area as well and tips of Sandford if anything. To be all honest every one likes where they live. I am ready to move toward Winter Park just because its not as active in that area and allot more settle people there. The High life of College kids gets old after about 7 years of it. If that tells you anything. You may like it for the first few years to get on your feet then skip to a better area as your here. Allot cool people to meet ect ect.....

im in tampa myself, about an hour and change from the area you are talking,m but i scored a nice 2 bed brand new apt for 754/mo

i still need to stop by and check out the new crib

and hear the new amps
