Orion xtr 2500.4 or xtr 2000.4?

After seeing the xtr wishing I would've saved some coin and went with the Orion. The 1100.4 should get the job done tho:yumyum:

Here’s the $99 cobalt 1500.4. Has three 30a fuse but not a lot of guys on the inside buts it’s $99 so what do you expect lol

Wow....those components are sure spread out. Wonder they did that purposley to dissapate heat better rather than cramming them together...?

I don’t think it looks really spread out, I’ve seen far worse. For a $100 amp I’m thinking it’s gunna be nice

It's the same boards with different layouts. Channel isolation is slightly better in most cases

Pretty nasty. The subs aren't the most efficient but their amps put out some good power. Three of my team mates are team Orion and run full Orion builds

I got the xtr 1700.4 on 8 pwx 10s @ 2ohm per channel. It’s loud as fvck. I went for a 30mins ride full tilt and it got warm but not hot. So far I’m impressed.

Now the cobalt 1500.4... I have it just on some polk dB tweeters. The amp has very little power until u hit the input button it has on the side. It’s weird. My Hu is 5v so I shouldn’t need to hit the input hi low button but it’s night and day difference with the button. That amp was cold to the touch after the 30min ride...
